Two new arrivals for the sporty GR range.
The GR offering is going to be growing with two more sports offerings, namely the GR Supra and the GR Corolla.
The TOYOTA GAZOO Racing brand has added extra adrenalin into the GR Supra with the addition of another pedal and a gear stick, answering the call from Toyota performance car enthusiasts, for a manual transmission model.
GR Supra already has incredible power and torque and the addition of a manual transmission further enhances it as a key competitor in the high-performance sports car segment. It will feature 6-speed manual transmission which is capable of maximising the performance of the high-output 285kW inline six-cylinder engine. A bonus of the manual transmission is that it also weighs 18kgs less than the automatic transmission; the lighter weight enhancing the car’s dynamic.
The release of the new GR Supra in late 2022 will see the range including two transmission options; new colors - matte Avalanche White (exclusive to manual transmission options), Volcanic Ash (with copper sparkles) and Dawn Blue finish; and all-new wheel design.

Hot hatch fans will be eagerly awaiting the arrival of the GR Corolla, expected in early 2023.
Taking the iconic Corolla hatch as its base, the high-performance motorsport engineers at TOYOTA GAZOO Racing have created an exciting sports car with extraordinary performance to match the world-beating and award-winning GR Yaris, which was developed based on Toyota’s World Rally Championship Yaris.
The GR Corolla will carry the same powertrain – the effervescent 1.6 litre three-cylinder with single scroll turbo - and All Wheel Drive system that features in the GR Yaris. As the GR Corolla is slightly heavier and larger than the Yaris, the DOHC 12 valve engine, has been uprated to 224kW and 370Nm of torque.
The wide stance, imposing air-intakes, rear spoiler and 18” alloy wheels, combined with much of the refinement and comfort of the standard Corolla, and the GR branding touches are sure to make this a real contender against other well-known hot hatch rivals.
We're pretty sure that the GR Corolla will quickly become the ultimate practical daily drive, that also just happens to be a high-performance sport car!
